Understand the Mobile Sync Queue (Don't Lose Unsent Reports)

When a technician works with weak or no signal, completed reports wait in the app's sync queue until they can upload. Handled right, nothing is lost. Handled wrong, a whole day of reports can disappear.

The One Rule

Never log out or delete/reinstall the app while reports are waiting in the queue. Logging out can permanently erase unsent reports.

Getting a Stuck Queue to Send
  1. Get the phone on strong WiFi.
  2. Open the app and leave it in the foreground — give the queue a few minutes.
  3. Open the Sync Queue and manually attempt to resync
  4. Open the item and take screenshots to prepare for losing the data
  5. Update the app to the latest version if it still won't send (don't log out to do this — update from the App Store/Play Store directly).

Working Offline on Purpose

Techs can complete reports offline all day; they'll upload when signal returns. Time stamps record when work was done, not when it synced. [CONFIRM]
