How to Complete Service Tickets
Service tickets document the work performed at each customer location. This guide covers how technicians complete service tickets.
Understanding Service Tickets
A service ticket is created when:
- A technician arrives at a scheduled appointment
- An on-demand service is performed
- Work needs to be documented
Starting a Service Ticket
From Mobile App
- Open your assigned appointment
- Tap Start Service when you arrive
- The service ticket opens for data entry
From Desktop
- Go to Appointments or Schedule
- Find the appointment
- Click Start to begin the service ticket
Recording Service Information
Chemistry Readings
For pool service, record water test results:
- pH Level
- Chlorine (Free and Total)
- Alkalinity
- Calcium Hardness
- Cyanuric Acid (Stabilizer)
- Salt Level (if applicable)
Work Performed
Document what was done:
- Chemicals added (type and amount)
- Equipment checked
- Cleaning performed
- Issues discovered
Photos
Take photos to document:
- Pool condition
- Equipment issues
- Before/after comparisons
Submitting a Service Ticket
- Review all entered information
- Add any final notes
- Tap/Click Submit or Complete
- Customer can be notified automatically
Using Service Templates
Templates pre-fill common service information:
- When starting a ticket, select a template
- Default values populate automatically
- Modify as needed for this specific visit
