Creating An Appointment
When working within the Customer Detail page, users can quickly schedule a visit by selecting + Appointment from the quick-create bar. This action opens the Create Appointment interface, pre-linked to the selected customer to streamline the scheduling process.
Accessing Create Appointment from Customer Details

Navigate to the Customer Detail Page.

In the quick-create bar at the top of the page, click + Appointment.

The system opens the Create Appointment interface with the customer automatically selected.
Initial Appointment Layout
When the Create Appointment page opens, it is contextually linked to the current customer.
Selected Customer Context

A blue sidebar on the right confirms:

Customer name
-
Service address
-
Relevant profile notes (e.g., “XD”)

This ensures the appointment is being created for the correct account.
Historical Reference

Below the customer summary, a Past Services section is displayed.

Shows:

Service numbers

Service dates
-
Service types

Technician notes
-

This history provides context and helps inform the new booking.
Upcoming Appointments

A collapsed Upcoming Appointments section appears at the bottom of the sidebar.

Displays any existing future appointments for the customer.

Can be expanded if needed for scheduling awareness.
Appointment Details
The left column contains the primary fields required to define the appointment.
Customer Lookup

The customer is pre-selected by default.

Clicking the Lookup button opens a searchable dropdown.

Allows switching to a different customer if required.
Type and Timing

Type
Select the category of work being scheduled. -
Date / Time
Use the date-time picker to set the appointment schedule.
Duration and Frequency

Duration
Enter the expected length of the appointment in minutes. -
Frequency
Choose whether the appointment:-
Does not repeat

Follows a recurring pattern (daily, weekly, etc.)

Priority and Color

Priority
Assign a priority level (e.g., Medium). -
Color
Select a color code for visual identification on the master schedule.
Technician and Team Management
This section manages personnel assignments for the appointment.
Primary Technician

Select the lead technician from the dropdown list.

Multi-Technician Assignments

Click + Add Another next to the technician field.

A secondary dropdown appears.
Team Selection

Use the dropdown(s) to assign additional technicians.

Multiple technicians can be assigned to a single appointment.
Inventory and Materials
Materials required for the appointment can be specified directly.
Item Selection

Type into the Enter Inventory Item… field.

Select the desired item from the dropdown list.
Adding Items

Enter the Quantity for the selected item.

Click + Add Item.
Materials List

Added items appear in a list below.

Each item can be reviewed or removed using the Delete icon.
Notes and Finalization
The bottom section allows entering additional instructions and completing the booking.
Communication Notes

Notes for Customer
Information visible to the customer on their service report. -
Appt Private Notes
Internal-only instructions for technicians.
Billing Management
Located at the very bottom of the page, the Billing section allows you to manage the financial aspects of the specific appointment.

Billing Status: A dropdown menu to categorize the current financial state of this job.

Itemized Pricing: Automatically lists the Service Price and any added inventory items like Acid.

Financial Totals: Allows you to adjust the Quantity and Price for each line item, providing an automatic Total for the appointment.
Save and Sync Appointment

Review all entered details.

Click the SAVE button at the bottom of the page.

The appointment is finalized and added to the system schedule.
