Customers Page: View Customer Details - Adding Pictures to a Customer Profile

The system allows users to upload and manage photos within a customer profile. Photos can be added from the field using the mobile app or from the office using a web browser. These images help document equipment, pool condition, and before-and-after service work, and are included in reports unless marked as private.

Accessing a Customer Profile

  1. Navigate to the Customers page from the main menu.

  2. Locate the customer to whom you want to add pictures.

  3. Click on the customer’s name.

  4. The system redirects you to the Customer Details page.

Adding Pictures to a Customer Profile

Step 1: Open the Notes Section

  1. On the Customer Details page, click the Note button.

  2. The Notes page opens.

Step 2: Add or Save a Note (Optional)

  • You may leave the Private Notes section blank, or

  • Enter any relevant notes related to the picture(s).

Click Next to continue.

Uploading Pictures

Step 3: Choose and Upload a File

  1. On the next page, locate the left side of the screen.

  2. Click the Choose File button.

  3. Browse your device and select the image you want to upload.

  4. (Optional) Enter a description for the image.

  5. Click the Upload button.

The selected image is uploaded and attached to the customer profile.

Picture Privacy Settings

  • By default, uploaded pictures are automatically included in reports.

  • If a picture is marked as Private, it will not be included in reports.

Automatically Set Photos as Private

To make all uploaded pictures private by default:

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Edit Company.

  3. Navigate to Visual Cues (located at the top of the page).

  4. Check the option Automatically set photos to private by default.

  5. Click Submit to save changes.

Pinned Pictures

Pinning a picture keeps it visible at the top of the Pictures tab in the customer profile.

Why Pin a Picture

Pinned images are useful for frequently referenced visuals such as:

  • Equipment pad photos

  • Auto-cover keypad locations

  • Permanent reference images

Pinned pictures remain easily accessible without scrolling.

Viewing Uploaded Pictures

  • All uploaded images are stored under the Pictures tab within the customer profile.

  • This tab displays every photo associated with the customer, including pinned and unpinned images.
