Complete Guide to Customer Management

The Customers section is your central hub for managing all customer information in Pool Office Manager.

Accessing Customers

  1. Click Customers in the left sidebar
  2. The customer list displays all accounts

Customer List Features

  • Search - Find customers by name, address, or phone
  • Filters - Filter by status, tags, route, or technician
  • Sort - Sort by name, date added, or last service
  • Export - Export customer data to CSV

Creating New Customers

  1. Click + New Customer button
  2. Fill in required information: customer name, contact information (phone, email), service address, billing address (if different)
  3. Set billing preferences
  4. Add any tags
  5. Click Save

Customer Tags

Tags help organize customers:

  • Create custom tags (VIP, Problem Account, Referral Source, etc.)
  • Apply multiple tags per customer
  • Filter customer list by tags
  • Use in reporting

Editing Customer Information

  1. Click on customer name to open profile
  2. Click Edit or click directly on the field
  3. Make changes
  4. Changes auto-save or click Save
